A Wichuraiana rambler, descending from the formerly very popular 'Excelsa'. ‘Crimson Shower' flowers very abundantly with large clusters of small, rosette-shaped, intensely red flowers. The flowers are semi-double and have a light scent. The large clusters have 20 to 60 flowers. The branches are very supple and their leaves are small, medium green and shiny, which forms a nice contrast with the flowers. It's not sensitive to powdery mildew like 'Excelsa'. This rose can endure shade.
