The spray rose 'Maïsha-Bomoyi' has large, semi-double flowers that show their stamens. They are dark pink in the beginning and change to lilac-pink with yellow in the centre. The different shades of colour ensure a lively display of colours. Large, orange hips appear in autumn. In the following years, this fragrant rose will be sold as a humanitarian rose by the non-profit organization Aide aux Enfants du Monde, for the benefit of projects in Tshela, Kongo Central.
The spray rose 'Maïsha-Bomoyi' has large, semi-double, flat flowers that show their stamens. They grow in clusters of 3 to 14 flowers. Each petal is dark pink, changing to lilac pink at the edges and yellow in the centre. The different shades of colour ensure a lively display of colours. The good smell is an asset. The plant grows upright. An ecological rose that attracts bees through its stamens and bird through the hips that appear in autumn. In Swahili, 'Maisha' means 'Life', just like 'Bomoyi' in Lingala. The rose 'Maïsha-Bomoyi' will be sold the following year as a humanitarian rose by De not-for-profit organisation Aide aux Enfants du Monde from Charleroi.
