Come along to our blooming rose garden. During this visit, we will consider various topics: history of the rose, the many varieties, use, our cultivation method, scents and colours... If you have a specific question or problem, there is always time to go into more detail. The group also always consists of enthusiasts who like to exchange tips.
Afternoon Tea Buffet
Tea sommelier Valérie Hallin from 'De Theeroos' is ready to make your mouth water with delicious pastries and fine tea blends. The expert explanations and stories surrounding the tea culture are part of her recipe that she knows like no other!
Horticultural Garden Annoëba
During our Rose Days, you can also visit the unique garden of Noel and Annie Backers, located just a 3-minute drive from Lens Roses.
It is a surprising discovery garden with gently sloping English-style landscaping, borders featuring a collection of 700 different perennials, trees, and shrubs such as Viburnum, Euonymus, Geranium, Cornus, and more. A water feature flows through the borders.
Additionally, there is a rose garden and a covered vegetable, berry, and fruit garden.
In the new section, a similar design style has been maintained, with a focus on the use of native plants and shrubs, ending in a large natural pond at the far end of the garden.
