Also known as 'Rubrotincta', 'Hebe's Lip' is a damask rose with almost single flowers. The vermilion flower buds open into creamy white flowers, with a hint of red at the tips of the petals. In the heart of the flower the beautiful yellow stamens stand out clearly. They are arranged in small clusters. Not only are the flowers intensely fragrant, but the leaves also give off a light scent. Forms a vigorous shrub with an open growth habit. Orange hips appear in the autumn. Tolerates poor soil well.
