A large, old, strongly scented tea hybrid with classically double, pure white flowers that continue to flower for a long time and grow on long, firm branches. The large leaves are hard and leathery.

An older tea hybrid by Victor Lens, known in America as 'White Briarcliff'. The large, pure white flowers are highly centred, like the classic tea hybrid and usually stand alone on a stem. They are highly scented and repeat-flower throughout the summer. The matted leaves are dark green and strong. The plant flowers better when pruned a little higher in March e.g. at 50 cm instead of 3 to 4 eyes.
