Very double, medium-sized flowers, bright pink and fading, with a strong fragrance. The flower buds are slightly mossy. An upright, sturdy shrub. It is one of the few moss roses that repeat-bloom well.

One of the most popular moss roses because of its excellent repeat flowering. The medium-sized, cup-shaped flowers are usually filled with a rosette in the center around a bud, sometimes quartered. They are strongly scented. The flower buds are lightly covered with a green moss. Their color is a deep pink, paler at the edges. They usually grow in clusters of up to five flowers. The branches are strongly upright and covered with bristles. It performs well as a solitary plant, among other shrubs, or along a fence.
Named after Melchior Salet, a landscape architect in Lyon.
