Gallica roses , Vibert , 1821

Ypsilante' is a Gallica rose with large dark lilac-pink flowers that fade to a lighter pink and finally to a grey violet. They are very double quartered flowers, with a strong scent. The loose upright shrub has light green leaves and few prickles.
