'Adagio' has all of the qualities that a noble andirresistible rose should have. These blood-red blooms are elegant and exquisitely shaped. They come from long and strong stems whichmake them exceptional cut flowers.Another striking feature of this hybrid tea is the richness of the blooms, they quickly re-bloom and are resilient against heavy rain. The leaves are glossy and dark green, the shoots are red-brown. Regrettably it is a lightly scented rose. 'Adagio' was named in 1971 in memory of Victor Lens (1889-1969), he marveled at her during her test period in the fields, andnoted that she was a good rose withmany admirable qualities.
