The flowers of Noisette Rose 'Alister Stella Gray' have a beautiful colour palette: a soft yellow to cream on the outside of the flower and warm yellow in the centre. As the flowers age, they fade to cream. Their scent is the pleasant scent of the Musk roses: spicy. The contrast with the dark green leaves is very nice. The clusters have about 8 flowers in June, but in autumn they are much larger and can have up to 35 flowers. Their colour is more intense in autumn and the yellow is more of an apricot and golden yellow. The supple branches have few spines. This variety is mainly known as a rambler but can also be planted as a large shrub.
