Anemone × hybrida 'Honorine Jobert' is a tall, graceful perennial known for its pure white, cup-shaped flowers and long flowering season from late August through October. Each bloom features a ring of golden-yellow stamens and is held high on slender, wiry stems that can reach 100–120 cm, rising above clumps of dark green, deeply lobed foliage. The plant spreads slowly by short rhizomes, forming substantial clumps over time.

This Japanese anemone hybrid prefers partial shade but will thrive in full sun if the soil is consistently moist and rich in organic matter. It excels in woodland borders, cottage-style gardens, or shaded flower beds, where its bright white flowers stand out beautifully against darker backgrounds.

Maintenance is minimal—cut back spent stems after flowering. Fully hardy and low-maintenance, ‘Honorine Jobert’ provides valuable late-season nectar for pollinators like bees. Introduced in France in 1858, it remains one of the most popular autumn-flowering anemones.
