Nice contrast are the red buds and the apricot yellow flowers that turn to light pink. The petals curl in the length, giving the flowers the appearance of stars. The small, semi-double, lightly scented flowers grow in large clusters. They repeat-flower and have a good autumn flowering. A compact shrub.
