Shrub with lightly scented, bowl-shaped, double, buttery yellow flowers that turn pale to cream. Striking are the round bunches that can hold up to 30 flowers and stand on sturdy branches. They make an excellent cut rose. The leaf is dark glossy green, the young leaves are paler. Like many moschata roses, the plant makes new shoots from its base throughout the summer which flower that same season. During autumn, the bunches are even larger than during flowering in June-July. The rose 'Château de Munsbach' is named after the public rose garden, created and maintained by the Luxembourg rose society where a collection of roses with Luxembourg names is planted.
