A graceful, healthy shrub with a rather upright growth that fits in perfectly with the ever-increasing demand for uncomplicated garden roses. In buds, the flowers are buttery yellow with a delicate hint of light pink, they turn to white and show their yellow stamens. They bloom in round clusters and have a sweet fragrance. A repeat-flowering shrub, suitable in massifs, hedges, solitary, in pots and as a cut rose. This rose was christened in 1992 with a number of readers of the monthly magazine Feeling at the Boomkwekerijen Louis Lens NV in Oudenburg. The Bruges singer Elsje Helewaut took on the role of ‘godmother’ of the rose. The then gardening editor of the magazine Ivo Pauwels chose this rose from Louis Lens' assortment and rightly called it 'a dream of a rose'.
