Large classically shaped flowers in clusters that change from soft pink to pink. Lovely, strong scent of the tea roses. Upright, sturdy shrub with dark green leaves. Flowers better in a warm, sunny location.

'Le Vésuve' is a Chinese rose bush with large double flowers with a classic shape of the tea roses and tea hybrids. They are pink in colour and become slightly darker as they get older. The outer petals are more crimson. Strong scent of tea. The purple tinted stems carry bouquets of 3 to 7 flowers. The dark green leaves are purple tinted when young. The branches are strong with many thorns. A robust and healthy shrub that blooms profusely all season. The flowering is better and more beautiful in a warm location, in the sun. It does fantastically in our orangery. The plant easily grows to 1.80 - 2 m and 1.50 m wide.
