Maïsha - Bomoyi®
This fragrant floribunda rose 'Maïsha-Bomoyi' has large, semi-double flowers that show their stamens. They are dark pink in the beginning and change to lilac-pink with yellow in the centre. The different shades of colour ensure a lively display of colours. Large, orange hips appear in autumn.

This floribudna rose 'Maïsha-Bomoyi' has large, semi-double, flat flowers that show their stamens. They grow in clusters of 3 to 14 flowers. Each petal is dark pink, changing to lilac pink at the edges and yellow in the centre. The different shades of colour ensure a lively display of colours. The good smell is an asset. The plant grows upright. An ecological rose that attracts bees through its stamens and bird through the hips that appear in autumn. In Swahili, 'Maisha' means 'Life', just like 'Bomoyi' in Lingala. The rose 'Maïsha-Bomoyi' was sold in 2019 as a humanitarian rose by the the organisation Aide aux Enfants du Monde from Charleroi. Walloon and Flemish friends support projects in Tshela, Kongo Central with the aim of increasing self-sufficiency by helping to build three drinking water wells, a sewing workshop for single mothers, a nursery for children and a primary school, a bakery, a brickyard, ...
