Marie de Blois
The very large, spherical flowers are bright pink with a lilac nuance, fading to a blush pink. They have a delightful fragrance. The flowering period is exceptionally long. The buds and young shoots of the rose are covered with reddish moss. The plant forms a bushy shrub and has a dens, healthy foliage in a fresh green colour.

The red, mossy, round flower buds initially produce spherical, densely filled flowers, which then open flat and quartered. They are bright pink with a lilac sheen, fading to a very light pink. They are also strongly scented and bloom only once, but this bloom is remarkably long-lasting. The shrub grows vigorously and bushily. The branches are well-prickled with spines and bristles. The foliage is abundant, fresh dark green, and healthy.
'Marie de Blois' is named after the Queen of France, Marie de Medici (1573-1642). She was imprisoned and escaped from the Château de Blois on the Loire (France) in 1619.
