Extended description

This wide shrub with overhanging branches was selected in Dresden-Pilnitz in the 1960s for its rose hips. It is a hybrid between R.dumalis and R.pendulina with small pale pink flowers and a paler heart in little clusters. The elongated red hips contain a high Vitamin C content, 1.2 gr per 100 gr flesh. The plant has no prickles and a beautiful autumn discoloration, with the leaves turning yellow.
