    (R. Helenae x Robin Hood). A successful and praiseworthy hybridization, where Robin Hood was selected from a hundred of other roses. This shrub reaches 150-200 cm. It doesn't require a stand in full sun and it grows abundantly with somewhat overhanging stems. Small, oval leaves; very disease-resistant. The flowers are small (3-4 cm), double and are carmine-coloured with a white stripe in the centre of the petal. The vivid clusters provide a splendid effect. Particular is the early flowering time (from mid-May until the end of June). The rose gives off a penetrating scent, noticeable until late in the evening. The branches are not inferior to the well-known red branches of Cornus alba 'Sibirica'. A flower arranger knows what to do with it! As with willows and dogwoods, it is best to prune them to allow young wood to grow, because that is where the color is most intense. We therefore recommend pruning this rose immediately after flowering. This way you have summer blooms every year and colorful twigs in the fall!
