Chinese rose with graceful cup-shaped medium-sized filled flowers, dark red and continuous flowering. They are on a straight growing shrub with low growth. This shrub needs a sheltered warm location.

Semi-double to double medium-sized dark red flowers, lightly scented. With us it forms a low shrub with dark green glossy leaves that bloom for a very long time. This variety needs a sheltered location. It is one of the oldest garden roses that are still in cultivation, it is said to have been present in China before the 9th century. We got our mother plant from Roger Phillips. It is assumed that all modern repeat-flowering red roses are related to this rose. Good in pot.
