This Multiflora hybrid has large clusters with many small, semi-double flowers that are densely packed. They are white with a pale pink shine and have a strong scent. Their leaves are dark green and very healthy. This summer-flowering rambler is one of the last climbing roses to start flowering in the course of June. Many hips appear in autumn. ‘The Garland' was very popular with Gertrude Jekyll, who used it in many projects. ‘The Garland' does well in a rose pyramid, obelisk, against a wall or rose bowers.
