A surprising shrub with semi-double, bowl-shaped flowers that change colour throughout the flowering period. They start apricot in the flower bud, are light apricot cream when budding and bloom to pink. Apricot Bells is the result of a crossing of TRIER and the Chinese rose MUTABILIS. The latter has passed the changing colour effect. The flowers are scented. Remarkably beautiful is the red-brown young foliage that forms a nice contrast with the older, dark green leaves. The shrub is upright growing, compact, star-shaped. Can be planted as a solitary shrub, in groups, hedges and pots.
