A rewarding moss rose that blooms for a long time with medium-sized, strongly scented flowers. They are loosely double and often reveal their stamens as they open. The flowers start dark crimson and fade to purple-red and dark pink. They grow in clusters. The flower buds and stems are covered with a light green moss. The foliage is medium green.
'Henri Martin' forms a spreading, bushy shrub with arching branches. We prune our shrub back by half annually to a height of 60-80 cm to create a bushy shrub.
Named after Henri Martin, 1810-1883, historian and author. He dedicated his life to recording the history of France until 1789.
