Perle d'Or
The large graceful clusters are striking and are spacious and very branched. The many small flowers are a mini edition of the tea roses, apricot chamois-coloured with pink hues fading to cream. They have the light scent of old roses. The leaves are medium green and glossy.

'Perle d'Or' is an elegant rose that looks very much like 'Cécile Brunner'. In England this rose was nicknamed 'Yellow Cecile Brunner'. The spacious bunches are very branched and stand out. The small flowers are light apricot buff-coloured with pink nuance fading to cream. The outer petals are lighter in colour. The flowers have a soft, pleasant scent of old roses. A real continuous bloomer!
The branches are almost thornless. The leaves are elegant dark green.
The shrub is known as a stronger grower than Cécile Brunenr (polyantha). In our country it remains low. In regions such as England it would grow larger. In our climate it does require a sheltered location as protection against cold, wet winters. It likes to be warm. The growth power also depends on the type of soil. Due to the shorter branches that quickly spread out, it is difficult for the grower to find enough eyes for propagation, making it difficult to grow this rose in large quantities.
Ideal in pots, solitary, in small groups, edging.
