Rosa x damascena 'semperflorens', Rosa damascena bifera, Autumn DamaskVery old rose known from before the Roman period. Lightly repeat flowering with very strongly scented flowers. They are pink, flat, loosely filled and show their stamens. 'Quatre Saisons' it forms an upright growing bushy shrub with light green leaves.

Where Rosa damascena blooms once in the summer, 'Quatre Saisons', as the name indicates, is reblooming. Although we cannot compare this reblooming with our modern reblooming varieties. This shrub was for long time the only known slightly reblooming variety in our regions and was already known in 500 BC.
The large flowers are flat, loosely filled, soft pink and strongly scented. They show their stamens. The flowers are in clusters of 3 to 10.
The shrub is bushy, upright growing and has a light green leaf and bristly spiny branches.
